Latinoamerica ha acogido la diseñadora emergente Nicaragüense, Shantall Lacayo desde su debut en Project Runway Latin America durante su último año en la Escuela Argentina de Moda en 2010.
Lacayo ha hecho un nombre por sí misma mediante la especialización en ropa femenina de alta costura, prêt-à-porter, cóctel y ready-to-wear. Ella describe sus colecciones como avant-garde, sensualmente atrevido y atractivo para una mujer moderna y sofisticada que no tiene miedo de llevar un estilo de “arte provocador”. Los cortes particulares de su colección presentan una sensación de arte visual y táctil salvaje y constantemente son inspiradas por la fusión de las artes plásticas, históricas y modernas.
Latin America has embraced emerging Nicaraguan designer, Shantall Lacayo since her debut on Project Runway Latin America during her senior year at Escuela Argentina de Moda in 2010.
Lacayo has made a name for herself by specializing in womenswear haute couture and prêt-à-porter. She describes her collections as avant-garde, sensually daring and appealing to a modern, sophisticated woman who isn’t afraid to carry an art-meets-provocative style. The collection’s cuts and one-of-a-kind visual and tactile artwork feel untamed and are constantly inspired by the fusion of plastic, historic, and modern art.
